Never Give Up On Your Dreams!

Do you dream of being a successful songwriter? Or a recording artist? Do you dream of getting up on stage and playing your heart out?

I'm here to tell you to go for it! Believe in yourself and chase your dreams. You were put on this earth to do just that.

Life Gets In the Way

Life can get so complicated sometimes. It's too easy to lose sight of the things that really matter to us. Our hopes and dreams can start to look like pipe dreams and fairy tales when faced with the everyday reality of keeping our head above water.

It's too easy to settle for a drab life of just going through the motions.

Except it's not really easy at all, is it? When we do that it feels as though we are dying inside. When we lock up our dreams they don't go away. They gnaw at us.

I know, because I have been guilty of putting my own hopes and dreams on the back-burner. I have been guilty of resigning myself to the "fact" that "It's just not in the cards for me."

That's nonsense! Don't believe that!

Keep the Dream Alive

There is no reason good enough for giving up on your dreams. You don't serve the world by denying your true self. You serve the world and everyone around you by being YOU.

Have you heard the saying, "Most people go to their graves with their music still inside them"? The music is a metaphor for allowing our true selves to shine. But it's pretty fitting for us songwriters, eh?

What I want to say is, don't be one of those people. Dare to dream. Do whatever it takes to keep that dream alive. LIVE that dream!

I promise to do the same.

Inspired Quote Of The Month

"Death is not the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss in life is what dies inside us while we live." - Norman Cousins, editor and essayist
