Custom Written MusicOver the past 5 years Media Music Now has had its share of custom music enquiries.

These have included music for TV adverts, shopping malls, short films and even wedding music.

The common thread with these has been that most of the time the client has little expectation of what it is going to cost and usually needs a lot of guidance with the process.

Also, with composers fees and terms varying considerably there is never that quick ball-park answer that most people want to hear.

Due to the complexity of such a service, it is inevitable that enquiries result in lots of back and forth until a price and terms are agreed.

Quite often when a client realises that custom written music is relatively expensive compared to stock music they often go off the idea, especially if it is a small company or individual. This also relates to another post I wrote recently ‘It is only worth what somebody is willing to pay for it‘.

With regards to our custom written music, we have just redeveloped our process for this and offer a much more efficient way of helping customers who are looking for bespoke music compositions.
