From Jen Hubley, your About Today Editor
For someone who doesn't actually have a sweet tooth (I prefer my treats fried) I can go through a ton of candy if it's sitting right there. This is not so great, for several reasons: it's bad for my health, it's sort of gluttonous, and it annoys the people who actually love candy and would have more fun eating it.

How to Make Sugar-Free, Low-Carb Chocolate
My solution for all of us is to start making sugar-free candy. It won't stop me from eating all your treats behind your back, but it will allow us to consume less sugar while we're fighting over snacks. Also: project!

Sugar-Free Nut Clusters
You can make these candies in 20 minutes. And somehow, making candy yourself seems even more virtuous than eating just plain old sugar-free candy you bought at the store.

Sugar-Free Licorice Gummies
My favorite thing about this recipe is that one of the ingredients is diet cherry soda. I don't know why I find that so funny, but I do. Maybe it's because it makes it feel like you're making candy out of things you found in the fridge. That's practically alchemy, at that point.

Sugar-Free Chocolate Pecan Torte
I am sending this recipe to my sister, the cake monster. She loves cake more than almost anything, and yet also runs for fun. (I know. It's hard to believe we're related.) This sugar-free recipe lets her stick to her diet and have her cake, too.
