I spent much of this weekend checking the news on my phone, which probably got pretty annoying for my friends who were throwing a picnic on Saturday. "There's probably not a lot of news on the debt ceiling crisis since you checked five minutes ago," one friend suggested. And I sheepishly hid my phone, only to crack it out again five minutes later and start scanning headlines.
